IVF & Period Tracker ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our application. We understand that the health data you share with us is deeply personal, and we take that responsibility seriously.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you upload a profile photo, that image is stored securely.
Health and Wellness Data: To provide our tracking services, we collect data you voluntarily enter, including menstrual cycle dates, symptoms, basal body temperature, mood ratings, sleep data, pregnancy milestones, menopause symptoms, and related health information.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including pages visited, features used, and time spent in the App.
Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
AI Conversations: When you interact with Luna, our AI companion, your messages are processed to generate responses. Conversations are not stored permanently or used to train AI models.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the App's features, generate cycle predictions and fertility insights, deliver personalized health information through Luna AI, process payments and manage subscriptions, send important service-related communications, and ensure the security of your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with enterprise-grade security. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL encryption. Access to your data is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies, meaning only you can access your own health data. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information.
5. Data Sharing
We only share your information with third parties in the following limited circumstances: with Stripe for payment processing, with Supabase for secure data storage, with Anthropic for AI-powered features (Luna) — only the content of your chat messages is sent, not your identity or health records, and when required by law, such as in response to a valid legal process.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data, export your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent for data processing at any time. 7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytical purposes.
8. Cookies and Tracking
The App uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not track you across other websites or apps.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
11. HIPAA Notice
IVF & Period Tracker is a consumer wellness application and is not a covered entity under HIPAA. However, we apply strong privacy and security practices to protect your health-related information as described in this policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the App or by email if the changes are significant. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
